Album Description
In celebration of his 50th anniversary in the music business, Razor & Tie releases Neil Sedaka's The Definitive Collection, featuring his biggest hits, demo recordings, rarities and his first set of new material in over a decade!

From the Artist
"As long as people want me and I still enjoy doing it, I'll sing." - Neil Sedaka

About the Artist
Brooklyn native Sedaka began his prolific career as one of the most original creators of the Brill Building sound in the late 50's and early 60's when he shared office space with such renowned songwriters such as Neil Diamond, Carole King, and Paul Simon and many others. The collection spans Sedaka's early years through the "Sedaka's Back" era, when he was signed to Elton John's Rocket Records and released two of his biggest worldwide hits - the #1 hits "Bad Blood" and "Laughter In The Rain," both included on this collection.

Sedaka's career continues to grow an his songwriting continues to spawn hit singles for current artists today - including Clay Aiken, who achieved one of the top singles of 2004 with his cover of "Solitaire."
