About the Author
David Mendel Harduf is a Toronto bookseller, who follows the bilingual tradition of Jewish booksellers and authors of former times who wrote in Yiddish and Hebrew. His hand-produced Tanach, which graces the shelves of world-class libraries, was awarded a Bar Ilan University prize for Scriptures ($50,000) in July 1990. He has published 30 books, including "Biblical Proper Names-A Symbolic Interpretation," a reference book (in English) that will prove valuable to parents and teachers alike.
